Whitfeld Tattoo & Piercing officially opened in Ashford, Kent, in February 2026, but its story began the previous summer.

After taking time away from work in 2025 to recover from multiple surgeries, founder John Dudley transformed what was meant to be apersonal creative space into something fargreater—a studio built on decades of experience, education and passion for the industry.

As the founder of Lovett Tattoo & Piercing inSouth London, John has built his reputation on exceptional standards and a commitment to developing talent. Every artist and piercer within his studios is trained through his own businesses, ensuring every client receives the same level of skill, professionalism and care.

With a background as both a hair educator andtattoo educator, including working alongside the renowned Paul Serville, education has always been at the heart of John's journey.

Today, Whitfeld Tattoo & Piercing is morethan a studio—it's a place where creativity, craftsmanship and genuine client care come together, welcoming everyone fromfirst-timers to lifelong collectors.
